Join us every Saturday, June 3th – October 7th, from 10:00am – 12:30pm for a free printmaking activity inspired by the North City Farmers’ Market!

We will be printing Garden Markers to name the plants in your garden. Join us and learn how to use metal type for printing the names of your plants and veggies on wooden stakes using waterproof inks. These markers will make it easy for you to identify your plantings this season!

During Summer Print Studio each teaching artist will present a unique activity that is based in printmaking – and will take the techniques even further. Learn about letterpress, stamping, monoprinting, paper making, bookbinding, gardening and more! Come back each week for new printmaking activity. And be sure to visit the market at the 13th Street Community Garden from 10:00am – 12:30pm to see where the produce is grown, and purchase a fresh harvest to take home!

Summer Print Studio is generously supported by The Regional Arts Commission and funded in part by the Missouri Arts and Education Council.
