At Central Print, we can host your school group, club, or work team for a one-day workshop or a series of classes designed to suit your needs.

We teach students of all ages and abilities. Our teaching staff will work with you to create a printmaking program to suit your academic or professional goals.

When working with pre-K students we print with type to learn about letter forms, mixing color, and overlapping shapes. Middle-school students can get on press and experience how the mechanics work in inking and printing the form. Carving linoleum blocks is a great technique for high-school participants to create original content for printmaking.

Adults learn about the rich history of printing by working hand-on with type and ink to impress their original compositions on paper. Working in a collaborative environment fosters team-building and creative problem solving.

A typical program last two hours and thirty minutes and includes an educational tour of the studio and museum. The tour is followed by hands-on printmaking or book arts programming that we customize to suit your group.

School group program pricing ranges from $10-$25 per participant depending on the size of the group and duration of the program. Professional level workshops begin at $45 per person.

Call us or send us a message to get a quote for your own letterpress workshop or outreach program.
