We had a great time at the World Chess Hall of Fame’s Sip & Sketch! Attendees created their own letterpress works of art, inspired by the current M.C. Escher: Infinite Variations exhibit at WCHOF. It was a packed house and every creation was unique. We brought wood type and ornaments that were arranged in a tight pattern. With a “work and turn” method of printmaking, we rotated the paper four times for a take on the tessellations in the Escher exhibition.
