Reductive Linoleum Print Class

Theme: Symbolism from the Natural World

Reductive Relief offers the opportunity to print with multiple colors all from one block! Whether you are new to linocut or a veteran, this process is an exploration of combining color layering and composition. We will be exploring themes of symbolism with imagery and ideas pulled from the natural world.

This 5-session class allows for plenty of design and carving time. Students will be able to print a small edition.

Central Print supplies paper, ink, linoleum blocks and has a selection of carving tools to use in the studio. Students can bring a sketchbook if they have one.
