Reductive Linoleum Print Class

Theme: Symbolism from the Natural World

Reductive Relief offers the opportunity to print with multiple colors all from one block! Whether you are new to linocut or a veteran, this process is an exploration of combining color layering and composition. We will be exploring themes of symbolism with imagery and ideas pulled from the natural world.

This 4-session class allows for plenty of design and carving time. Students will be able to print a small edition.

There is an added $10 supply fee to cover the costs of linoleum blocks and paper. Central Print supplies ink and has a selection of carving tools to use in the studio. Students can bring a sketchbook if they have one.

Cancellation Policy: Central Print reserves the right to cancel workshops and classes to adjust for enrollment. If a workshop or class is cancelled by Central Print, you will receive a full refund.

Refund Policy: Notice of withdrawal from a workshop must be made at least 7 days prior to the start of the class. No refunds will be given for withdrawals made after that time. No refunds or credits will be given for classes missed due to illness, personal conflict, or other reasons. Please email carrie@centralprint.org to withdraw from a workshop.
